Ana Martinez

Certified Reiki Master, Licenced Esthetician and Medical Esthetics practitioner.

Ana was born in 1963 in Sincelada ,Colombia. During her childhood she spent a lot of time in nature taking long walks and hikes with her father. He would teach her about communicating and respecting nature.Trees, rivers, animals and weather changes were her friends and teachers. Her connection with nature became very strong. Her father and mother were local healers and so she started to learn about different natural remedies very earlie on. It didn’t take long for her to discover her own deep desire to search the world of holistic medicine on her own. At the age of 21 Ana moved to Mexico to learn from many other local Holistic medical practitioners while attending different Spiritual workshops. There she was able to expand her knowledge and affirm her decision to become a member of the Holistic Wellness industry. In 1995 Ana moved to Vancouver, B.C. This beautiful always green and lashes city became her home. Still searching for her purpose in life she started to learn English and met her husband with whom she has two beautiful boys now. While being a wife and a mother Ana Martinez started to volunteer for Red Cross, Neighbourhood house and Emigrant Service Society, helping newcomers arriving to Canada and guiding them in the process of the fist months of settling into a new environment.

Over time constantly educating her self more in 2004 Ana has became Certified Esthetician by The Cosmetology Industry Association of British Colombia . At the same time she obtained her Diploma as International Cosmetology Director.

In 2005 Ana has completed her two years of Reiki studies at Queenswood Centre in Victoria and became Certified Reiki Master.

In year 2007 she also obtained her Medical Esthetics Practitioner Diploma at The Stenberg College, Vancouver, B.C.

Well being Philosophy

Ana is very passionate about her work as a Reiki practitioner and she strongly believes in the importance of bringing the body into balance by releasing the stress and tension caused by the way we live our daily lives in today’s busy world. By educating her clients about their bodies and its functions she reintroduces the sense of well being to everyone who seeks her services.Currently Ana offers her services which is a unique blend of Reiki body work, Holistic Esthetics as well as Nutrition consultations from her home based location in Vancouver.
