How many times you have walked into a store looking for the perfect dress, top…found something you like and said to your self :”I wish this dress was different color ,tiny bit shorter, would fit me better up top and was just a bit more unique so it would fit my fun and sassy personality. Then it would be perfect! ” Yeah, I’ve done that many times over and over again. Being a girl is a wonderful thing when You can find clothes that fits You and is fun to wear. Baby Goes Blue Corset – reworked vintage piece.

I found a this beautiful, azure blue vintage dress shirt, cut it up and gave it new shape- sexy corset. I added fuchsia pink lace and this is the final outcome of the creative process. I have to say, this one is so much fun to wear.

My clothes and accessories has always been another extension of me as a person. It can be used as a very accurate way of saying who we are and how we feel with out using words. I grew up in East Europe and looking good and polished is a way of living there. It is important to me that I look good, because when I look good I feel good. And there is nothing more important in life than feeling good as much as we can. Its the healthy and easy way of being.

Reworking Vintage as a New green trend

The process of custom designing for women is just so much fun. Its very personal and creative and I like to go as far as my clients allow me to go on their journey to discover their girlie, sexy or elegant side. Its always full of surprises and challenges while making the unknown known. There is no rules except making sure you look and feel amazing. My inspirations come from many places. It could be a movie, beautiful vintage dress that I found while shopping on Main street or a button. I love getting lost in the fabric stores overwhelmed by colors and textures or browsing vintage stores. Reworking vintage pieces is my favorite. It combines my two passions-fashion and recycling. Its a fun way of being green.

The Detox idea.

Most people are now familiar with benefits of detox. The primary function of your body over night is to detox ,so it ’s a good habit to have glass of water or two to flash your body before you have your breakfast. I always have a glass of Hot Lemon (hot water and squeezed half of a lemon).

There are many ways to detox out there for you to try. Its a good idea to start with only a few days (5-7 days is a good start and then you can slowly build your self up). It can be a very challenging but also extremely beneficial experience. I find it to be very effective way to establish new, healthy eating habits which is one of the main benefits in my opinion.

A friend of late Marilyn Monroe told how, one summer’s day, she and Marilyn Monroe were walking in Manhattan, talking earnestly about a subject on which they both felt strongly. Marilyn was wearing no makeup, a head scarf, and a plain coat , and nobody noticed the famous movie star. As they came to the end of the conversation, Marylin whispered to her friend, “Shall I be HER now ?” Immediately she was recognized and mobbed, causing traffic chaos. Her friend says the amazing thing was that she did not seem to change anything outwardly, she just decided to think of herself differently – and the effect was INCREDIBLE.

This inspiring story is taken out of one of my favorite little books – A year of Spirituality by Ingrid Collins .

Confidence is created within and is celebrated by the way we walk, talk and dress. Sunera is a Style coaching company that is always keeping this in mind. Beauty affirmations

What are affirmations ?

Affirmations are positive statements that describe in positive words a desired situation, event, habit or goal, and which are repeated mentally or aloud. When these statements are repeated often and in a certain way, they eventually take root in the subconscious mind and influence it to act accordingly.

When you repeat them with faith, earnestness and attention, they change the programming of your subconscious mind, which in consequence transforms the way you think, your habits, attitudes and skills, and helps you create a better life and attract new opportunities.

Your subconscious mind accepts as true what you keep saying, and eventually attracts corresponding events and situations into your life, irrespective whether they are good or bad for you, so why not choose only positive statements?

Here are some examples:

• I m beautiful, healthy and happy .
• I love my body ,I love my skin, my arms ,my feminine shape, my legs, my hair….you can create your own version.
• I take a good care of my body, I give it good food, I play and relax and do my best to maintain balance in my life.

• I walk proud and confidant wherever I go. I accept compliments easily .

This is a great book. It has many easy beauty tips and has more “Beauty mantras” as well. Take a trip to chapters, get a cup of coffee and do some positive reading. You ll enjoy this one.

The fabrics I used are dark purple polyester with white retro, polka-dot patern and chocolate brown sateen.The colors are so rich and comliment each other so well. Empire waist style with adjustable bows on the sides and sleeves makes it interesting as well as practical. I always make sure I have a way to make sure my dresses fit me like a glowe.

I found this dress in a cool vintage store. The original design was boring and the cut was not exciting at all, but I loved the fabric.

I reworked it into this beautiful creation. This dress makes me feel like a exotic princess when I wear it. This gives a clear idea whats possible when you take old and turn it into new. Magic !
